Maxim Lardent is a stage and screen actor, improviser, writer, director, and producer.

Biography

Maxim was raised in Las Vegas, NV. He developed his love for performance in high school speech and debate where he won awards in humorous and duo interpretation, including quarter-finalist at a major regional event. This led him into other forms of performance including theatre and film.

He attended and graduated from Chapman University where he majored in Film Production and minored in Business Administration. During this time, he helped form The Group Collectively, an organization of filmmakers dedicated to making movies together. It tripled in size in less than a year, making over 30 short films. Maxim continued performing with speech and debate, winning several local tournaments.

Maxim’s films have been seen in festivals including Faux Film in Oregon, Underground Vegas, and CineVegas film festivals. He worked heavily with RawVegas.tv’s comedy content team, working on nearly 100 shows, and writing for their Daily News program. After training with Second City in Las Vegas, he joined the improv team Happy Hour. 

Maxim is thrilled to have join Poor Richard’s Players in providing quality Theatre for the Las Vegas community.  He has been praised in the Las Vegas Review Journal for his work in Adventures in Mating.
